19th century, the first a Chinese red lacquered box with lift lid over two hinged doors revealing two drawers, allover decoration of figures in a landscape; and the second a mahogany lightwood inlaid jewelry box, the coffered inlaid lid opening to reveal a lift-out tray over an open compartment, each fabric lined.
