(Loose spine with splits to pastedowns along hinges; pages remain tightly bound; shelf wear and expected bumps to boards; internally clean with subtle age toning to leaves); Dawson, S. J. Report on the Exploration of the Country Between Lake Superior and the Red River Settlement, and Between the Latter Place and the Assiniboine and Saskatchewan. (Toronto: Legislative Assembly, 1859), 45 pages with three large fold-out maps, small folio (13.25 x 10 in.), three-quarter leather over dark brown cloth. The front free endpaper inscribed, Mrs. T. D. Warren a present from her Brother Henry B. Bostwick on his leaving for California 23rd April 1864 (front board loose on deteriorated spine; covers worn with damp stain on front; one map with crudely repaired tear; another map disbound).
