Circa 1880, walnut, with ebony and lightwood inlays, including a sofa and two chairs, each having relief carved crestrail featuring cranes, fluting and vine decoration, with central inlaid plaque, burlwood veneer stile surmounted by bust with laurel leaf swag, later upholstery, the sofa with rosette and tapered column relief carved arms, shaped seat, with repeating burlwood veneer and relief carved skirt, raised on four front turned legs with brass casters and two rear sabre legs; chairs with conforming carved hip rails, shaped seat, with burlwood veneer and relief carved skirt, front turned legs with brass casters and rear sabre legs, unmarked.

Later upholstery; sofa with chip at base of right rear foot and missing central rear wall stop; surface wear and scratches.; good estate condition.
