The first a mid-19th century velvet covered notebook with gilt ormolu mounts of a royal nature, the frontispiece reading "Souvenir / of January 22 / Sia Felice" above a royal monogram "CR" within a floral wreath, including a gilt fountain pen with faceted yellow glass cap and applied band of indecipherable hallmarks to shaft (some denting to pen, else good estate condition) (Pen 6 3/8 in.); the second a French Empire style gilt-bronze inkstand with inset red agate base, hinged inkstand with glass liner (LOA 7 in.) (minor spots of verdigris).
