Painting under the pseudonym "George Barrel," Botti was a prolific artist who also founded the Botti Studio of Architectural Arts Inc. in Evanston, IL. Born to Italian immigrants, he was raised in Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY. He studied at a Brooklyn art school and the Art Students League of New York, in addition to several others.
