With original underside label reading, in part, "Robinson's Patent Photograph Album Patented April 11th, 1865..." A pair of glass-fronted windows are set into a thermoplastic frame to reveal a continuous sheet slotted for CDVs and affixed to rollers turned by exterior knobs. The roll presently holds 50 trimmed prints taken from late 19th century books, magazines and advertising cards.
