The first English, worked in silk on linen, with pious verse to center and name and date of maker, Elizabeth Roberts / Aged 9 1880, field with various floral, tree, and avian motifs, frame with graphite over print backing (DOA 19.75 x 14.5 in.) (with staining and scattered holes; nailed to board); the second a Victorian memorial needlework worked in wool, monument topped with flower filled urn, stitched to bottom register "Jane Ingham,s Work 1861" (DOA 25.25 x 23 in.) (with staining holes).
