A two gallon salt glazed stoneware jar having a wide flat rim and applied ear handles, stamped below one handle "W. Hutson Reed Creek 2 NC" featuring a band of incised coggle wheel decoration below the rim.(Hutson was active in the Ramsuer area of Randolph County in the mid 1800s.)
