The first an oil on convex board, unsigned, presented in a gilt frame, the verso with German framer's stamp (DOA 9.25 x 9.25 in.) (good estate condition); the second an oil on board painting of a village scene with figures and steeple, unsigned, presented in a gilt frame with composition ornament to corners (DOA 11 3/8 x 9.25 in.) (some paint flaking to sky).
