19th century, composed of a large oyster / conch shell bowl upon which are perched an angel and a nereid, the shell being supported by dolphin form standard above a circular plinth featuring four hippokampoi (the horses of Neptune), marked on the bottom with crossed blue swords and with raised mark "C163".

In fair condition with losses and breaks, old glue repairs, most notably the arms of the figures, animals feet, right half of the shell.
