Kentucky, circa 1820, poplar secondary, rectangular top board with double line inlay to edge, four graduated drawers with scratch bead and lightwood line inlay to each and distinctive ellipse corner, canted corners with barber pole inlay, arched paneled sides with cockbeading, above shaped drop front and side skirts, the front with repeating barber pole horizontal inlay, raised on distinctive delicate turned feet.

Nicely inlaid chest with original skirt and feet.

Drawer glides replaced; drawer runners rebuilt; replaced pulls.
