Early 19th century, white pine secondary, six board dovetailed case, hinged lid with applied molded trim, interior with till, raised on French bracket feet, with note reading "From the Christian Herr Family, Lancaster County, PA" and remnant of original paper label reading "...Herr, 1834..."
