Late 19th century, unusual form featuring two arm or hip rails with acanthus scrolled knuckle and rear rosette, later fine moire silk upholstery and two pillows, molded seat rail with applied floral decoration, and raised on eight stop fluted tapered legs, rear seatrail and rear four legs not developed with motif for display against a wall.
