Le Yongleur / fab. suisse to the verso, the clock face featuring an image of a Chinese man seated cross-legged, an egg floating above his proper right hand and an Ace of Spades floating above his left, depressing a level at the top reveals the hour beneath the egg and the minutes beneath the playing card, red Bakelite blocks flank the case which is raised on a decorative grillwork plinth and rouge marble base.
