19th century, rectangular form, the exterior featuring a strongly grained rosewood with light wood inlay, the hinged cover opening to reveal an inlaid diamond cartouche framing a monogrammed medallion "JPM," the body holding three caddies with hinged covers of exotic hardwoods and inlaid letters "B," "S" and "G," two brass knob handles to top.
