Japanese American artist, glazed porcelain, a moonpot with interior rattle, globular vessel with a nipple-like spout and a small footed bowl. Each inscribed with signature mark on the underside.

Moonpot 5.75 x 5 in.; Bowl 2.5 x 4.25 in.

Toshiko created ceramic works of art inspired to some degree by Finnish ceramist Maija Grotell. Her work is in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
