The first a pewter casting mounted to a hardwood stand with gallery plaque reading "'Stallion' / The Day the Wall Came Down / by Veryl Goodnight" (6 in.); the second a bronze sculpture of a horse signed and dated 1987 and mounted to a walnut plinth (5.5 in.); and the third a bronze horse with applied patina signed and dated 1990, mounted to a walnut plinth (5.5 in.).

Working only from live models and counting horses as her favorite subject, Goodnight's sculptures are found in such prominent collections as Brookgreen Gardens in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Heritage Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
