Circa 1800, mahogany, the first with a shaped crest rail having relief carved acanthus ears and central spray over a well-developed carved back splat, on scrolled arms with later pink needlepoint upholstered slip seat, molded seat rail, on straight legs with molded corner and inside chamfer and stretcher bas; the second with scrolled crest rail, reticulated back splat, scrolled arms, with later floral needlepoint slip seat, on straight legs with canted corner and inside chamfer, stretcher base, raised on casters.

Larger with later seat; repair with area of fill to top right of back splat; possible later stabilizing to rear of back splat; break and repair to right arm at joint; the smaller with break and repair to crest rail at joint; hairline crack at center back splat; joint repairs to arms; later seat; later splice to left arm joint at seat rail.
