Virginia or North Carolina, circa 1800, white pine secondary, two-part form, top having a dovetailed case with applied cove molded cornice featuring vertical lightwood line inlay, above two raised panel hinged doors with lightwood line inlay, shelved interior, the base with exposed dovetailed case, hinged lipped lid with breadboard ends, interior with central highly figured prospect door with lightwood line inlay opening to reveal four graduated figured and inlaid small drawers, flanked by two drawers each above three valanced pigeon holes, the case with four graduated cock beaded drawers, inlaid and scalloped skirt, on French bracket feet.
