Clear glazed earthenware, some with "mistake" glaze, attributed to Ben Owen, to include: a lidded pitcher, a lidded bean pot, a covered sugar and a creamer; a chamber stick; four cups with saucers; two small bowls.

From the Collection of Mary Wells, Greensboro, North Carolina Glazed earthenware with "mistake" spotting is caused by the presence of salt in the kiln.
Cups and saucers in fair condition; other pieces have no chips or hairlines but small glaze flakes common with early earthenware.
