Polish born painter Tadeusz Styka was born to an artistic family - both his father, Jan Styka, and his brother, Adam, were accomplished artists. Tadeusz was a widely sought after society portraitist, and this painting is a refreshing and charming depiction of his own family at play in the waters off the coast of France.
