Wythe County, circa 1820-30, six-board dovetailed poplar case, lid with butt hinges and applied molded edge, interior with till to the left side, front of case with distinctive triple panel featuring urn and tulip design, applied molded base with spurred dovetailed bracket feet. Decoration attributed to John Huddle (1772-1839).
