Attributed to the Shenandoah Valley, circa 1800-1810, mahogany, mahogany veneer, yellow pine and poplar secondary, shaped top with banded veneer edge, open frieze with lightwood line inlay, stepped bowfront center section featuring a long drawer with central star and stylized barber pole inlays above two hinged cabinet doors with barber pole oval inlay, flanked to the right by one deep serpentine front cellaret drawer with two oval barber pole inlays and to the left by a serpentine form upper small drawer over a graduated drawer, each with oval barber pole inlays, stiles with distinctive star and bellflower inlays, raised on six square tapered legs.
