Worked in silk on linen ground, upper register with initials of family members above a pious verse, centered with Adam and Eve beneath the Forbidden Tree and serpent, bottom register with house flanked by figural motifs and trees, with stitched signature and date of "Agnes Wishart Aged 9 / Feb 8 1831" above the house, and with various motifs arranged symmetrically to field, all within a strawberry border.
