Circa 1800, poplar and white pine secondary, dovetailed case, hinged slant lid with breadboard ends and lipped and molded edge, interior with central prospect door opening to reveal three graduated drawers, flanked by two vertical document drawers flanked by four graduated short drawers, four graduated lipped long drawers with period, possibly original, brass pulls, chamfered stiles, applied base molding, shaped bracket foot base with spurs.

Top and front lid with highly figured walnut.
Rear of top board with quarter inch later spline; later hinges to lid; prospect door with loose hinges; replaced right rear foot; third long drawer with right lower corner cut and patch; front feet with hairline crack, but original.
