WITCHITA, KANSAS FLAME RETARDANT"; the suit's right breast carries a rare variant of NASA's familiar "meatball" logo patch while the suit's functionality is enhanced by numerous pockets with Scovill brass zippers, a zippered front, and Velcro strips.

Collection of John Westheimer, Lebanon, Ohio This suit was found by the consignor in the home he from purchased Neil Armstrong. Real estate records from Warren County, Ohio document the property's transfer from Neil A. Armstrong to John R. Westheimer on July 28, 1999.
Film footage from June 1969 shows Armstrong at the controls of the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle and, later, being interviewed by the media. Throughout the exercise he is wearing a white LLRV flight suit.
Pale yellow age toning throughout with some stains to the fabric; no other issues apparent; overall good estate condition.
