Rodolfo Morales was one of the most significant artists living and practicing in Mexico during the 20th century. Morales' style fuses the everyday life of Oaxaca, his hometown, with magical realism and surrealism. Together with artists Rufino Tamayo and Francisco Toledo, Morales helped Oaxaca become a cultural center in Mexico for contemporary art.

Some cockling; few spots and barely-visible foxing marks; two minute pinholes likely from artist hanging; sheet possibly tipped onto backing at several points; not examined out of frame.
