A stoneware jug having a runny dark olive alkaline glaze, extremely ovoid tapered form with tooling under the spout, a high arched grooved handle, the upper shoulder stamped at the front "DS" above the capacity "4".

Original area of ash adhering to the glaze; .5 in. shallow crater left of front, otherwise fine.
