Mid-20th century, three pieces including a pair of finger vases and a leaf dish, each marked, glazed creamware.

Finger vase - 8 in.; Leaf dish - LOA 8.25 in.

Joseph Palin Thorley was born in Staffordshire in 1892. He apprenticed at Wedgwood and designed for several major commercial potteries before becoming involved with Colonial Williamsburg.

One finger vase with small repaired chip to one point.
