Attributed to James Gheen, Rowan County, late 18th century, yellow pine secondary, applied top with molded edge, two over three graduated lipped drawers, flanked by fluted quarter columns with lamb's tongue at bottom, base with applied molded trim, dovetailed bottom board, shaped bracket foot base.

Top reset and with two later medial braces and later rear brace; three replaced dustboard shelves; right rear foot facing old but likely later; left rear foot facing tipped two inches; brace blocks later but shows evidence of the original front to rear Gheen school single block brace; replaced pulls with plug holes; staining and surface loss to top.
