Three Pieces of Signed New Mexico Blackware Pottery

Mid-20th century, to include: two polished bowls having "Maria & Santana" on the underside, these being made in San Ildefonso by the celebrated potter Maria Martinez and her daughter-in-law; the larger bowl with feather motif decoration (3.5 x 8 in.) (light wear) and a smaller bowl (2.75 x 6.5 in.) (broken and repaired with cracks still evident); chip to rim; plus a small pot signed "Westoa(?) Silva" (5.5 in.) (some wear and light scuffs).

Included is a copy of a 1946 photograph showing Maria Martinez with the consignor's grandmother to the potter's right.
