19th century, the first with turned crest rail, two graduated back splats, rush seat, turned front seat rail, raised on turned splayed legs with stretcher base, the whole with gold and black painted banding; together with a fancy painted chair featuring bird head and acanthus scroll crest rail, shaped and painted splat, shaped rush seat, raised on turned and graduated legs with down-swept feet.
