Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Richard Kinnaird joined the faculty at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1964, where he taught and influenced many students during a 40 year career, retiring in 2004. His work is in such museums as the the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Ackland Art Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art in Seattle, Washington.
