The first, a wheel-thrown bulbous footed vase by Jim Whalen, Paradox Pottery, red clay body with brown raku firing (minute nicks to the foot, signed on the bottom (8.25 x 9.5 in.); a Bulldog Pottery footed bowl slip decorated with a skeletal fish (5 x 6 in.) (original glaze skips to the rim); a stoneware planter, the rim supporting a skink, signed "P. Smith" (7.75 in.); the fourth is a David Johnston jardinere, salt glazed with decorative runs, stamped "D" on the bottom (8.75 x 13 in.)
