The first a flow blue plate depicting Washington's Headquarters at Valley Forge (9.75 in. diameter); the second a transferware pitcher with gilt details and featuring two landscape scenes, decorated with an American eagle and "United States of America Free and Independent" below the spout, retains a Skinner auction sticker to the underside (6.75 in.) (some rubbing and retouch to gilding).
