The first an acrylic on canvas board titled Plein Air Gold II, signed at lower right, framed (DOA 11.5 x 9 in.); and two collage paintings titled Sunflower Heart #1 and Sunflower Heart #12, each signed and dated 2014 (DOA 6 x 6 in.).

Originally from Washington, D.C., McRay earned his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He moved to North Carolina in the 1980s and was juried into Raleigh's Artspace in 1998. His work has been featuring in the Raleigh News & Observer, Our State Magazine, Art Business News, and Southern Living.
