Born in Mexico, Kennedy studied scenic and costume design at the North Carolina School of the Performing Arts in Winston-Salem, NC. Following graduation, she enjoyed a successful career in both theatre and film scenic design. She now divides her time between studios in Spoleto, Italy and Brooklyn, New York, where she primarily focuses on sculpture and portraiture.
