Three still lifes by Mrs. Kirkpatrick were included in the Sixteenth Triennial Exhibition of the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association (1887). Her paintings hung alongside works by Childe Hassam, Marshall Johnson, Arthur Wesley Dow, Ida Burgess, and Walter Lansill.
