Early 19th century, mahogany, mahogany veneers, pine secondary, light and dark wood inlays, two-part form, the upper case with a later applied broken arch pediment above a flat cornice with drop applied pendants, base of frieze with herringbone inlay, two hinged cabinet doors featuring window lights within intertwined vertical ovals, a center rectangular window pane is surmounted by graduated bellflowers, louvered shelved interior, the base with a pull-out fall front butler's secretary, fall front lid featuring oval marquetry containing urn and floral with inlaid quarter fans to each corner, desk interior with center prospect door, seven small drawers, and eight pigeon holes, above two hinged lower cabinet doors, each with large oval inlay with ribbon and floral, inlaid quarter fans to each corner, on bracket foot base.
