Late 18th century, mahogany and kingwood inlays, oak secondary, shaped rectangular top featuring an inset leather writing surface with a double-banded veneer border, brass trim to outer edge, center inset cabinet door with highly matched star veneer, open interior, flanked by two small stacked drawers to each side, cabriole legs, ormolu mounted caps to feet.
