(some internal worming and external chipping; attractive leather and gilt); eleven random volumes of incomplete French novels (Paris, 1860s), gilt on leather, 20th century bookplates on pastedowns (7.25 in.) (some chipping at spines, else good condition); six 19th century English works to include poetry and history (largest 7.5 in.) (chipping to spine of one volume); two religious books to include The Miracles of Our Lord (London, 1848), heavily illustrated in color (7 in.) (good condition) and an American bible, circa 1890s (12 in.) (good condition).
