The first worked in silk on fine ground, with central pious verse above maker's name and date, "Habella (?) Wright / her work age 12 1825," and field with various floral and figural motifs (15.75 x 13.75 in.); the second worked in silk on fine ground, with rows of alphabet above a pious verse, centered and balanced to each side with symmetrical animal and tree motifs, bottom register with maker's name and date, "Charlotte Starling Aged 15 Years 1846," housed in a period frame (22.75 x 19 in.).
