Worked in wool on loose ground, with alphabet rows to top above pious verse, with central cartouched with name and date, "Ann Waller / Work Aged 10 / April 26 / 1831," bottom register with pious verse and ground with symmetrically placed floral, tree, and bird motifs, all within a strawberry border.
