Consisting of a wooden handle fitted with a customized 4.5 in. curved blade marked "Russell & Co / Green River Works," accompanied by a circa 1900 explanatory note reading, "Knife used by Captain Joseph M. Hood after losing his arm in battle of Chickamauga" and a celluloid UCV Confederate flag disc. These items presented in a giltwood shadowbox display.
