Early 19th century, unmarked 37 in. octagonal barrel with approximately 8mm bore, fixed sights; walnut stock decorated with folky checkering at shoulder, fitted with brass endcap, trigger guard, patch box and butt plate; the iron lockplate stamped W. JACOT / LONDON; walnut ramrod secured by brass pipes (hammer will not hold and frizzen is somewhat loose; old professional repairs to stock with newer 1.75 in. split in front of the lockplate; attractive old surfaces throughout); plus a 19th century brown leather shot pouch with extra flints, balls and a 9 in. powder horn (crazing to leather; a .5 in. hole in the horn).
