Early 19th century, yellow pine, six-board dovetailed construction, in red wash, hinged lid with applied molded trim to left and right sides, carved in the solid to front edge, interior lacking original till, raised on dovetailed bracket feet with central drop.

Lacking original till; no key; surface wear and scratches; shrinkage cracks to both sides of case.
