Sherrod Barnes-Ginifer is an Asheville-based artist working in ceramics and oil paintings. She received her MA in ceramics from East Carolina University in 1994, but also studied at the Penland School of Crafts, Barton College (BFA in Ceramics, cum laude), the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and UNC-Chapel Hill.
