Initialed MAD and dated 1855, pine dovetailed case, applied molded lid with wrought iron strap hinges, interior till with lid and sliding side to reveal hidden drawer, brown hand and sponge decoration throughout and to all sides, with central front floral painted panel, with a later associated maple presentation stand.
