George III Marquetry Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock

Circa 1800, oak secondary, brass face with second hand and date dial, Roman and Arabic numerals with fleur de lis divide, the hood with an applied vertical banded cornice, plain frieze, hinged door with fully turned spiral columns with light and dark wood inlay to surround, the case featuring a central waist door with applied vertical banding to edge, two paterae, the upper with bow and tassel, stylized quarter fans, bar and intertwined vine design to stiles, sides and base with repeating inlaid motifs, the case raised on later ogee bracket feet; with two weights, pendulum, case key and clock key.
