Lot Details & Additional Photographs
(Nurnberg: Paul Furst, 1662), vellum boards with manuscript title on the spine, small folio (14 x 9 in.), Gothic German text precedes the 153 extant plates (of an original 154), these illustrations depict men and beasts operating a broad array of ingenious devices that were used to move water and grind edible grains for consumption.
